Yucata.de has been online since 2001. It was a small project for a long time, but by now the helpers have become quite numerous. Many thanks to all these helpers, without whom Yucata.de would not be what it is today!

Sparhawk initiated the site in 2001 and has maintained it ever since. He created the portal and the framework into which new games can now be integrated comparatively easily.

Buchas discovered Yucata in 2011 and fell in love immediately, as he can play here when there are no live players available.

Ccybrina

Ccybrina is an enthusiastic board game player, a hobby she pursues with friends and family, in various tournaments and, of course, on Yucata. She is also a software developer, but is currently at home with her kids. She occasionally develops a game for Yucata, so that she does not get out of practice while she is busy with her toddler's building blocks.

Coastliner stumbled upon Yucata while looking for information on an out-of-print game and was immediately overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of games on the site.   He's also a developer in his real job, but finds working on projects with commit comments about aliens and archers much more fun.

Kai96 didn't need much convincing; he quickly began development of Richelieu. Development of Wikinger then followed seamlessly and more will likely follow. When Kai96 isn't playing on yucata.de, he goes out with his camera.
