The goal
Deliver cans, glass, plastic and paper to their matching recycling factories. Earn reward cards while avoiding illegal disposal. The player with the most points wins.
This implementation uses the Amigo edition: 88 recycling cards, with 19 single-icon and three double-icon cards per material, and 32 reward cards (eight per material).
Setup
Arrange four factories side by side. Stack each material’s rewards in the following order, from top to bottom:
| Players | Reward order |
|---|
| 2 | 0 → 1 → 2 → −2 → 4 → 5 |
| 3–4 | 0 → 1 → 2 → 3 → −2 → 4 → 5 |
| 5 | 0 → 1 → 2 → 3 → 3 → −2 → 4 → 5 |
Shuffle the recycling cards. Each player receives three hidden cards. Place one face-up card at each factory’s dump site; the remaining cards form the face-down draw pile. All factory recycling sides start empty. Choose a starting player and take turns clockwise.
Recycling side, reward stack and dump site are separate areas.
Your turn: four steps
1 Deliver one material
Play one or more cards of one material onto the matching factory’s recycling side. You choose how many; playing at least one is mandatory.
Add all recycling icons there, including previously played cards. Single-icon cards count as one; double-icon cards count as two.
- Four or more icons: take exactly the top reward card and discard all recycling cards at this factory.
- One to three icons: leave the cards there. You receive no reward.
You receive only one reward even if you deliver eight or more icons. Keep earned rewards sorted by material.
2 Collect the dump site
Take every card from that same factory’s dump site into your hand, whether or not you earned a reward.
3 Respect the hand limit
If you now have more than five cards, choose exactly the excess cards and place them face down in your personal illegal-disposal pile. Each costs one point at the end. These cards never return to the draw pile.
4 Refill and finish
Refill this dump site with a number of cards equal to the icons still on the recycling side, plus one. A cleared factory therefore receives one card; a factory with three icons receives four.
If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the recycling discard pile to form a new one. Then the next player takes a turn.
Game end and scoring
The game ends when someone takes the last reward from any factory. That player must still collect its dump site and resolve the five-card hand limit. No further player takes a turn.
- For each material, a single reward card is worth zero. With two or more rewards of that material, add all their values, including −2. A zero reward still counts as a card.
- Subtract one point per illegally disposed card.
- If you never disposed illegally, add the clean-collector bonus below.
| Players | Bonus for each clean player |
|---|
| 2 | 4 points, even if both players stayed clean |
| 3 | 2 points for each player who disposed illegally |
| 4–5 | 1 point for each player who disposed illegally |
Most points wins. Tied players compare illegally disposed cards: fewer wins. If still tied, they share victory.
On Yucata
Perfect memory: there is no information variant. Rewards and disposal totals are visible. The three initial hand cards remain hidden. Cards collected from a factory are public and remain visible while their presence can be established. Illegal disposal is hidden: only copies still guaranteed to remain are shown.
Your player panel stays first; a small star identifies the starting player selected by the framework. Select matching hand cards and then their factory, or use the enabled action in the silver bar. Disposal is a separate selection. The standard Undo and turn-confirmation controls remain available until you finish your turn, which reveals new cards.
Tap a factory’s information button at the top-right card corner to inspect the remaining rewards in draw order, next card first. Tap the draw pile to see which cards may still be in it: the overview includes unknown opposing hand and disposal cards, but excludes your own cards. It reveals neither the actual deck composition nor its order. Automa+ uses its own hand and public information only. The final empty factory is not refilled because the game has ended.
